Crosstalk《相声》

by
Synopsis

This creation is inspired by Crosstalk, a traditional Chinese comedic performance in the form of a dialogue. The duet will be a dialogue between the contemporary and tradition, also between Singapore and Taiwan. More importantly, the choreographer believes that the body is a tool for communication and hopes to portray the qualities of Crosstalk- liveliness, light-heartedness, precision, but on the other hand with a strong intention. Through this dialogue, the dancers use their bodies to communicate with each other as well as to the audience.
