Bring Contemporary Dance to your School
Our programmes are aimed at the following learning objectives:
— Expose students to Contemporary Dance and the performing arts in Singapore
— Equip students with general knowledge of and an appreciation for the intense physicality of contemporary dance, the emotions and ideas embodied, as well as the creative process behind a dance work
— Excite students with the perspective on how dance can be regarded as a medium of expression and reflection of our life experiences, the society we live in, our culture, and the environment around us.
Assembly Programme
A meaningful way for an entire cohort to experience the thrill and the richness of live contemporary dance performances. Guided by an emcee, this programme features a performance of selected excerpts from our repertoire of diverse works, and includes a Q&A segment where your students can raise questions to satisfy their curiosities about contemporary dance, including what a career path of a full-time professional dance artist may entail.

Contemporary Dance Workshop
T.H.E Contemporary Dance Workshop can be customised as an introductory, beginner, or intermediate session for students with varying levels of experience. Throughout the workshop, students will gain a deeper understanding of contemporary dance by exploring floorwork, dance techniques, and movement dynamics. Additionally, the workshop encourages students to step beyond their comfort zones, fostering growth and creativity in their movement practice.
