Synopsis

Old Sounds《古声》is a rich composite of modern city sounds, endangered dialects, folk-songs and Dance on Screen. This hour long multimedia dance work explores modern man's profound and intimate relationship with the gradual loss of tradition and environmental change.

Old Sounds《古声》involves many local artists such as music composer Darren Ng, photographer Tan Ngiap Heng and lighting designer Tommy Wong. Also, Brazilian video artist, Gabriela Gomez, who is based in London, will bring in Dance on Screen for this multimedia project.
