Adele is a independent contemporary dancer, teacher and choreographer, working in various contexts and with diverse bodies, including dancers with disabilities. Adele’s movement practice is constantly evolving, but has strong influences from somatic-based techniques, Gaga and Flying Low. She enjoys improvisation, spontaneity and play. In recent years, she has created, collaborated and performed for different platforms including M1 Contact Contemporary dance Festival, Arts in Your Neighbourhood, ArtScience Late at Home, da:ns festival and Odoru-Akita Dance Festival. From 2013-2018, she was also a company artist with Frontier Danceland.

This workshop will guide participants through exercises designed to cultivate ease and flow in movement. They will explore physical concepts such as weight, momentum, and gravity while developing a keen awareness of the body in space and the wonderful space within the body itself.
