Natalie Tse is a Chinese Zither – Guzheng performer, educator, and experimenter. Her signature style involves sonic experiences using electronic effects, creating different soundscapes with the Guzheng. She has performed locally and internationally in events such as Spotlight Singapore (Moscow) and WOMAD (Singapore). Natalie is a member of musical trio SA(仨); NOISE Singapore Music Award Winners 2013, and has performed with SA(仨) at the Shenzhen Fringe Festival (Shenzhen) and Tribal Gathering of Tongue Tasters (Singapore) amongst others.
Natalie holds a Masters of Arts in Music from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Faculty of Arts; Department of Music. Awards include the Grand Prix – prize of the Minister of Education and the European Krzysztof Penderecki Music Centre, Bydgoszcz Musical Impressions 2009 (Poland), and the 2004 Gold Medal Award at the 21st Century International Chinese Music Festival in Genting.
