In 2025, the festival will offer over 20 classes and workshops, alongside T.H.E’s signature mid-year intensive. These sessions are designed for seasoned practitioners, dance students, emerging artists, and dance enthusiasts, providing opportunities to deepen their practice, engage with international artists, and refine their skills. At the same time, the festival embraces the full spectrum of engagement—whether through participation or simply the act of witnessing dance unfold on stage.

Level

This level is suitable for participants with little or up to 6 months of practice. The focus is on building confidence, exploring movement in a supportive environment, and developing a strong base for further growth. Perfect for those newer to dance or looking to reconnect with their body in a creative way.

Suitable for participants with at least 1 year of consistent practice, this level delves deeper into techniques, dynamics, and choreographic phrases. It challenges dancers to refine their skills, expand their movement vocabulary, and explore more complex sequences. This level encourages artistic expression while maintaining a focus on technical development, making it ideal for those ready to take their practice to the next level.

Suitable for pre-professional and professional dancers with a minimum of 2 years of experience. It emphasises intricate choreography, nuanced movement quality, and artistic interpretation. Dancers are encouraged to push their physical and creative boundaries, making it a space for honing technical precision and deepening artistic expression. This level is designed for those pursuing a high level of excellence in their dance practice.

An open level class is an inclusive, exploratory session suitable for participants of all skill levels. Unlike traditional classes that focus on learning specific, advanced movement phrases, this format encourages individuals to look inward and create movement through improvisation. The emphasis is on self-expression, personal exploration, and connecting with one's own body, rather than mastering predetermined choreography. It’s a space for creativity, experimentation, and discovering unique ways of moving.
