T.H.E Dance Company believes in nurturing talent from a young age. We have taken under our wing young dancers aged 16 to 29 to form T.H.E Second Company. Through our training programme, these young dance artists are exposed to performances, festivals, seminars and other dance related events. They are guided by members of the main company in hopes of becoming active contributors to the development of the local dance scene.

T.H.E Second Company was founded at the same time as T.H.E Dance Company in September 2008. Since its inception, T.H.E Second Company has already performed at the Macau International Dance Festival 2008, School of the Arts Singapore (SOTA) and the NUS Arts Festivals 2010 and 2011. These young dance artists are also featured in an annual choreographic platform – The Emerging Choreographers, as well as an annual dance intensive – Contact, both initiated in 2009 and 2010 respectively by T.H.E Dance Company.
