Born in Jakarta, Indonesia, Jessica started her dance training in Ballet and Jazz. She completed RAD grades and majors examinations when she was 19. In 2007, she came to Singapore and enrolled into LASALLE College of the Arts and graduated with a Diploma in Dance. After her graduation, she worked as a full-time dance instructor in O School Limited while she continued pursuing her career as a dancer. She joined T.H.E Second Company and started dancing with T.H.Esince 2009.
She performed in T.H.E Emerging Choreographers I (2009), T.H.E Emerging Choreographers II (2010). As well as in T.H.E’s works; Silence (2009), The Man In The Centre (2010), and during Contact 2010 – Water Bloom and also Bohemian Parody.
She joined T.H.E as a full-time dancer in April 2011. Her debut was in Singapore Arts Festival 2011 when she performed As It Fades, a work choreographed by Kuik Swee Boon. Since then, she has performed and toured with the company, and continues to work for T.H.E’s upcoming event. |
